Hi, Jim!

Welcome to the reality of life between community gardens and our government.

You've just learned Honigman's Law: Community Gardening is 50% gardening
and 100% political action.

Go through the archives and search for posts by Adam Honigman, who most
unfortunately for all of us, shook off this mortal coil last year. It's
times like this when we all miss him most.

Adam gave the best advice on political organizing to save community gardens.
While you are looking through the archives, you may want to organize his
words into one document, both for your own benefit and to be placed on the
ACGA website, so that when the next community garden is blindsided by a
government agency that wants buildings over community gardens, they know
what to do.

Good luck. You are going to need it, but many of us here are in the same
place you are.
