Gardens in Philly generally charge a plot fee. It can be anywhere from $10-50
per year, but is more often on the lower end. Gardens who pay for water may
add an additional fee to cover that.

One garden in the process of buying its land charged a basic plot fee and then
also expected members to raise an additional $100 each by paying it themselves,
soliciting donations from friends & family, or selling raffle tickets.
