take the cultism out of agriculture!
i hear some people defending csa like people defended naziism, and others defended going to war with iraq and afghanistan. sure rooftop gardens are great! but not all of them. some are clearly only for the rich... do the people blindly supporting the milwaukee project also want to donate money for scholarships? do they also want to help start projects in the poor neighborhoods of milwaukee? have they even been to milwaukee to know what they are defending? inflation is caused by people charging more money. period. its a domino effect. also, this is a communitty garden list so dont expect people to jump onto an idea, even if it is trendy. i havent heard the original poster respond to any comments, about location or explanation of costs, whether they will sponsor low income membership, and im still hoping to. i encourage projects that will benefit all beings, and i hope some of the blind will take off their blinders. im not so naive, and neither are alot of people peace, love, and harmony On 1/4/09, K GRUENEICHCAREY <[email protected]> wrote: > > It all depends on how & that the proposed $800/ share / yr covers--- > 1) How many weeks, how many pounds, etc. over the growing season.
