All your emails raised some great points.  Some will be interested in
gardening/farming.  Organic, no-till gardening and farming in permanent beds
does not require the purchase of anything except seed.  Of course, if
irrigation is required, water needs to be available.  A few hand tools is
all that is needed.  Land is available, free to use, in most cities.  The
market is all around.

Maybe one solution is a gardening training school.  There is a worldwide
organization of self-supporting schools [most are agriculture] who sell the
production to support the school and the students provide the labor, etc.
