Ha! You really can't be 'certified'
That's just for businesses selling moe than $2500 worth of produce a year. Your 'organicism' is self-patrolled. Allow no nasties like Sevin, Round-Up, Miracle-Gro and Osmocote; promote composting; build up the organic matter in your soil and you will have a sustainable organic garden. Good luck!

Subject: [Community_garden] must haves for an organic garden?

hello everyone!

my organization will be creating our first garden this summer - YAY! before
we get started i want to assure that all my bases are covered in terms of
organic sustainability. i know we will need an agency to certify us but what
is required to be "certified organic"? are there any suggestions or
must-haves before we get started?

thanks in advance for your insight
