Lead? No, use raised beds and imported soil. I believe Rufus Chaney
(and others) have looked for plants that can remove some heavy metals
from soils (the plants are then disposed of), but the last time I
looked into this, no plant was found that selectively sequesters lead.
Hydrocarbons? Yes, compost, mushrooms, etc. Google
