Dear All,

This "Worm Mon" knows best what he does not know, but has "partners,"
through the miracle of the internet, who know a lot!

What say to barn swallow, bat, and pigeon poop(Worm Mon calls "gifts")

weeds and elk "gifts" for compost?

Godsil

Hey from pittsville,WI= "Pittsview farm", well I had a good/informative time
a week ago there. Im going to start on my composting skills. So far I have
mixed in more pine wood chips (lost trees here w/tornado that hit while i
was there) and hay that bails broke on first cutting. A few questions came
up. How is poop from barn swallows ( they eat 10 times there weight in bugs
im told) As well as there mud nests i knock down and they come back and they
build again each yr. also bats leave piles, and pigeons have took over silo,
so bad poop problem in there. And we cant forget our Elk poop, there all
grain, hay or clover grazeing feed. off poop how 'bout weeds? im going to
talk to my friend, owner of the mercantile store in town and he will
propably give me his veg scraps. i get my beautiful eggs from neighbor that
shows fancy chickens. (i can here my eggs being laid, ha) Thanks for
the insperation. Nancy Stauner
