Hi Cathy,

I took a look in the email archives and searched on "Locust" and there are
a lot of emails on the topic of using locust wood in a garden.

Here is a link to a search result .... this is a long link so you'll
probably need to copy and paste it into a browser.

http://www.mail-archive.com/search?a=1&[email protected]&haswords=locust&from=&notwords=&subject=&datewithin=1d&date=&order=relevance&search=Search

Meanwhile, maybe someone remembers the answer...
Hope this helps,
Jennifer Leonard

Probably more than 2 yrs. ago someone sent an email saying that Locust was
a strong tree and that parks uses posts from it. I asked her which she
meant, Robinia or Gleditsia, and she told me, but I don't remember and I
can't find the email. Does anybody have this email or information? Thanks,
Cathy from Staten Island
