Hello community gardeners! How do you recruit and retain volunteers, particularly for community garden projects involving youth? I work on a community children's garden project in Bellefonte, Pa., and also am an independent environmental writer and editor. I write about youth gardening for kidsgardening.org, a monthly newsletter of the National Gardening Association. Volunteers are critical to so many projects -- certainly to our communitty children's garden. I'm researching some stories on recruiting and retaining volunteers. If you have any tips along these lines, I'd love to speak with you. Please email me off-list. Thanks! Happy Gardening everybody:) Best regards, Lisa Duchene (814) 357-0289 -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
