Sorry everyone for the delay in my response - I tried to "reply" to the listserv and that didn't work - another lesson learned!
I wanted to thank everyone for your responses. Your input helped very much and enabled me to submit the grant proposal on time. I also responded to some of the concerns that were raised by the listserv - in case you remember any of that dialogue, I'll still include that information! For our expected yield, I went with the more conservative end of the range of numbers this listserv generated. And this was only one of our garden-related outcomes - most of this section of the proposal focused on community participation in the process and on community access of the food yielded.
