Hi Gardeners, Wow, we had rain! I remember asking for prayers for rain last Sunday in the 11:00 service. Our God is an Awesome God! The rain will be very beneficial to the garden. We will be able to harvest squash soon! I saw 2 small yellow squash on Sunday evening. I bet they will be ready tonight. Speaking of tonight's work time, it is from 6-8 pm after the Oasis service. I am hoping that some of you will be there, I will not. If you harvest squash, please weigh it and record the weight. Feel free to take the squash to use if you can. Also, check the broccoli. It will be coming in fast. If it is too wet to walk inside the garden area, there is grass that can be hoed out around the perimeter of the garden. It will grow quickly as a result of the rain. If we can stay on top of the weeding around the garden, it will make upkeep easier in the long run. We are still prepping the garden for our open house on July 10th. We could use some more wheat straw bales. Workday on Saturday is from 8-10 am. Please come out and help if you can. Check out the pretty flowers starting to bloom around the raised bed box. I look forward to seeing you in the garden! Gardening for God, Mary Jac -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
