If you live in an area of high levels of sunlight like I do, the plant
might cook. Just allow for that. Another use of plastic bottles is to punch
a small hole in the bottom side, bury it by a plant and fill with water as
needed for "drip" irrigation.  If you have a shed, etc without windows so
it dark inside during the day, use a plastic bottle for a skylight.  These
are very popular in several countries.  Info on the internet.
