Dear ACGA members: Here is a link to an El Cerrito (California / Bay Area) Patch article about rat poison and wildlife deaths -- particularly sad because a young turkey vulture in El Cerrito was killed by ingesting such poison, presumably by eating another animal killed by the poison.
Even though the article is targeted to the El Cerrito audience, particularly in regard to a Sept 18 meeting of the El Cerrito City Council to pass a resolution about this issue, it is really relevant to all of us, no matter where we live. http://elcerrito.patch.com/articles/el-cerrito-should-ask-retailers-to-keep-rodenticide-off-shelves You might want to investigate whether your city is looking into this type of action to prevent these wildlife deaths.
