nope you won't....

We have two items about community garden insurance on our website...
www.gardeningmatters.org -- just type in insurance in the search area or it
would be under "coordinating" (left hand column).

Secondly, I'll just say that you'll want a rider and hopefully from a
community-based organization that can add capacity/support to the garden in
other ways. Use the need for insurance as a way to deepen connections
within the neighborhood. Self-sufficiency is great, but it can often lead
to isolation unless there other mechanisms in place to prevent this.
Isolation is a key reason for gardens to implode or otherwise come up
short on its potential for community improvement.

That said, I still would really love for the landowners of community
gardens to find reassurance in some way other than liability insurance.
Liability Insurance is really just smoke and mirrors (from my perspective)
and a pointless waste of people's time and money, and all too easily,
become a barrier or hurdle to the garden's operations and thus an
unnecessary hardship among gardeners who are trying to do good in their
community.

any other thoughts for what could be done to give landowners assurance
while keeping it simple for community gardeners?

What should gardeners be asked do in order to keep injury from happening
among them or visitors (invited or otherwise) to the garden?

thems my thoughts.... thanks for hearing me!
