Fletcher Allen Healthcare in Burlington, Vermont is doing tremendous work
with gardens (and food in general). In addition to what is listed on the
link below, the hospital has vegetable gardens at two of its sites - one of
which has community plots with an educational component.

BIG NEWS! We are changing our name from Friends of Burlington Gardens to
Vermont Community Garden Network, which has been the name of our statewide
program since 2006. This reflects our mission to support the hundreds of
garden communities across the state. Meanwhile, our established local
programs continue to provide fun, hands-on garden education in Burlington
and offer models for the rest of the state and beyond. Be on the lookout for
our new website with more information about the state's growing network of
community and school gardens and new ways for garden leaders to connect to
and learn from each other!

Subject: [Community_garden] Teaching hospital gardens

Anyone know of a teaching hospital with a garden or attempts at such a
worthy endeavor? We are interested in the; potential benefits, day to day
operations, volunteer management, pitfalls and overall risk management.

As always I appreciate guidance from all the wise sages out there! ;D
