Hi everyone...hope this finds you well.

I was fortunate to get some help from the list on a recent article I wrote
for Teaching Tolerance on food justice in schools (
http://www.tolerance.org/serving-food-justice-school-article).

I have been invited to write another article and am reaching out to the list
to see if anyone is might be able to assist. Here¹s the scoop:

The article centers on SNAP...and the stigma students sometimes/might
experience if their family receives SNAP assistance. In that light, how do
teachers/educators address issues of food justice/security, food "deserts",
access to healthy food, etc.

This is different from the food justice article in that it focuses on how
teachers/community educators (and related) address this difficult issue of
food security, how to make all students aware of it, how they understand
SNAP...and to substitute stigma, perhaps with awareness and action.

Perhaps you are interested in contributing to the article...perhaps you have
students who might want to share their stories, perhaps you can point me in
the right direction.

I have a quick turnaround on this, so reach out to me soo if you can.
