Dear All,

Some Chicago parents will be donating small aquaponics demos to their
childrens' schools, for science, skills, and Spirit.

*Parent Financed Food Sovereignty School Innovations*

In my intuition, it is not really so much the dollar cost of urban ag
demos,
but the cultural, social, and vital spirit capital required for innovations
in
our schools...or any of our institutions.

The Milwaukee Public Schools(MPS) recently received about $100k for
aquaponics
teacher training, curriculum, and small systems. MPS and Chicago Public
Schools
will soon be able to provide other cities with guidelines for aquaponics
systems
incorporation into STEM and ecological studies instruction.

I am hoping to connect with ecopreneurs in other cities to inspire the
diffusion
of digitally enhanced and connected aquaponics experiments, but also with
experiments in something as simple as a red cherry tomato plant in the
corner of
a science lab.

Why not?
