Costco has had good wheelbarrows (only offered in the Spring) Metal handles, and a few years ago they also had solid rubber tires! Each year they seem to take something feature away - like the tires - back to air filled Price has been around $75
Haven't seen them at the stores this year.. so far Bill -----Original Message----- From: Community_garden [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Jill Edwards Sent: Thursday, February 20, 2014 9:32 AM To: Community Garde Listserve Subject: [Community_garden] Wheelbarrow Suggestions Hi There! One of our gardens has been wearing through the assorted wheelbarrows that have been donated over the years, and we need to invest in some new ones. Because we have limited funds (as we all do) I thought you might have suggestions about which wheelbarrows ARE good (online reviews tend to focus on the negative - but few people go looking to share their positive experience). What wheelbarrow is the best investment of our money? -- Jill B.
