Hello!

I work for a program which supports the 70 (and growing) community gardens in
Pierce County & Tacoma (just south of Seattle). We have a lot of educational
resources for growing vegetables, but we've found the gardening of plants is
easy in comparison to the skills required to create a high-functioning
community... Are there any of you out there in this wide network of community
garden specialists who know of educational resources for the soft skills that
are required for gardening in community? Skills may include:

*         Shared decision making

* Planning meetings and work parties

*         Conflict resolution

*         Non-violent communication

*         Communication

As an organization which supports community gardens, we want to increase our
own skill set as well as the skills of the community gardeners. We would like
to avoid creating the wheel and would be so grateful if any of you would be
willing to share resources you've used/developed to help build capacity of
community gardening groups.

Many thanks!
