I wish there was a better way to extend the CE plugin classes. I feel
really awful about abandoning the plugin architecture and modifying
files in /vendor. What happens when the next release of CE comes out
and I want to take advantage of cool new features? A huge diff and
merge every time?? It goes against the very fiber of my being.
