Hi all I'm about to launch a geo social network site based on CE (1.0.1 rails 2.2.2) and we are still in the phase of deployment, test, fix it and so on... anyway, since yesterday, I noticed that when users upload pictures (e.g. profile picture) we get a lot of broken links
Basically I noticed that only the original picture is stored in the file system whereas the thumb, medium and large are missing. I checked in the logs and could not find anything besides the upload and right after that the picture is missing, no sign of anything broken. I checked ImageMagick, and the default tests are working. So, I tell you what I did yesterday: 1. the server is a CentOS and I did an upgrade from 5.2 to 5.3 2. I moved the entire rails app from my home dir into /opt Any idea on what the problem could be, if step 1. and 2. could have broken something? Any suggestion about where I should look better, any additional log? I thought about permission on the new directories, but this is not the case: otherwise not even the original picture could get stored...
