The master version is the latest 'stable' version, and it will work with the Facebooker plugin.Edge is 'kinda' stable (I use it on production sites), and contains a lot of new features (see here<http://github.com/bborn/communityengine/blob/c6854c9ba61b23e5a5b0faa6f25267488928c2fa/CHANGELOG> ).
