I don't see it on my development machine, but, it seems to be
happening once we deploy on the live site. After some investigation it
looks like it has something to do with the content type. The emails
have .html.erb, but, the content type should be plain text. Looks like
that is confusing the app (only on some machines) and it picks up the
french files possibly since it is alphabetically the first. I have
forked communityengine (http://github.com/srushti/communityengine) and
it looks like this has fixed it, at least for us. I have sent Bruno a
change request.
