We're still evaluating CE -- it's definitely the closest of all the options but it's still NIH, so we need some hand holding :)
Who is there that offers CE coding services? I'm interested in having someone set up our initial CE site and then possibly help maintaining and extending it (happy for all of the relevant code to go back into CE too). Specifically, we need: * Multiple communities within the same userbase (review Groups plugin, suggest options). * Add the concept of role, separating Staff & Users (Staff can post to blogs & moderate forums, users can't). * Authenticate users transparently against a separate but internal OpenID server. * Remove Events, blogging, clippings, static pages from User role. * Create the ability to "like" items (instead of being able to comment on everything). * Migrate our existing user profiles and forum contents to CE. * Add a "quote" function to the Forums. * API for adding events to feeds from external system. * API for creating users from external system. * Adding all of Bruno's plugins. * Making sure all of this works with the iPhone plugin. * Some pointers for theming and some light assistance theming the iPhone plugin.
