You should look at the documentation for installing to heroku. http://www.communityengine.org/documentation.html
As for your problem, heroku uses a read only file system. since CE always copies the plugin asset files to the public directory, it will raise an error. To stop this add the following lines to your production config file. config.after_initialize do EnginesHelper.autoload_assets = false end On Mon, Aug 2, 2010 at 11:05 AM, RolfeDH <[email protected]> wrote: > I have read the documentation and newsgroups, tried many things, but > haven't solved this issue. > I would appreciate any help solving the following: > > rolf...@rolfedh-desktop:~/dollcircle$ heroku rake db:migrate > rake aborted! > Read-only file system - /disk1/home/slugs/251492_d01ee7c_38ec/mnt/ > public/plugin_assets/community_engine/./charts > > (See full trace by running task with --trace) > (in /disk1/home/slugs/251492_d01ee7c_38ec/mnt) > rolf...@rolfedh-desktop:~/dollcircle$ > > You can see the full text for "heroku rake db:migrate --trace" at: > http://gongfermour.tumblr.com/post/891273813/heroku-rake-db-migrate-trace > > My heroku app page is at: http://glowing-winter-51.heroku.com/ > > rails version 2.3.4 > ruby version 1.8.7 > > All questions and suggestions welcome! > > Thank you, Rolfe > > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups > "CommunityEngine" group. > To post to this group, send email to [email protected]. > To unsubscribe from this group, send email to > [email protected]<communityengine%[email protected]> > . > For more options, visit this group at > http://groups.google.com/group/communityengine?hl=en. > > -- ------------------------------------------------------------- visit my blog at http://jimlabs.heroku.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "CommunityEngine" group.
