Hmm, I'm having trouble with getting CE to use the new version and I'm
working against a short deadline so I'll defer this until later.

On a related note I have found that the meta_search gem has been replaced
by the author with a new search support gem called ransack. The github info
for ransack is at https://github.com/ernie/ransack

I noticed this because I've added some custom models to my CE app and want
to include search capability for the new models.
