Hi all,

I'm evaluating Rails-based social networking platforms for a new site.
Community Engine seems to be one of the best and the one closest to active
development, but I've been searching for two days and I can't find any
documentation on integrating Community Engine with Devise. There's some
generic information on the Devise wiki about using Devise with a mountable
engine, but that isn't really telling me what I need to know.

Specifically, I seem to do best when I have an example to follow and adapt
to my needs. Has anyone successfully managed to integrate Devise into
Community Engine? If so, what needs to be done?

I've considered just adding the information in the Devise user table
migration in with the various migrations for the Community Engine user
table, but it looks like there's a catch. Devise uses a field called
"encrypted_password" where Community Engine's user table has
"crypted_password" with a "salt" that looks like it goes along with the
password. I don't know whether it would be possible to harmonize the two
fields.

Any suggestions would be welcome.

Thanks,
