C-BRAINS International PhD Program in Paris, France Call for applications 2023 Deadline March 3, 2023 C-BRAINS (Cognition and Brain Bevolutions: Artificial Intelligence, Neurogenomics, Society) is a major innovation and research initiative supported by the Ile-de-France Regional Council. It brings together the best of academic research in neuroscience and cognitive science in the Paris region, with more than 200 research teams spread over 17 sites (6 universities and schools of higher education, as well as laboratories affiliated to Inserm, CNRS, CEA and the Pasteur Institute) and more than 40 industrial partners.
An international doctoral program is set up by C-BRAINS in 2023, offering students a unique opportunity to develop their scientific projects within the neuroscience and cognitive science research teams of the greater Paris area. The C-BRAINS international PhD program will offer 13 PhD contracts starting in October 2023 for three years, and financial packages of 5 k€ of scientific support and 7 k€ of installation bonus (12 k€ tax-free stipend). C-BRAINS is particularly eager to welcome students from multidisciplinary backgrounds applied to neuroscience and cognitive science, and willing to use their skills and experience in new and exciting projects proposed by our academic and associate partners. Interns will conduct their research at the various partner institutions after choosing from a list of over 70 topics. They will have the opportunity to contact potential supervisors prior to the March 3, 2023 deadline. They must not have worked or resided in France for more than 12 months during the 3 years preceding their recruitment by C-BRAINS.
