        BIND 9.X.Y
                X indicates a feature set.
                Y is maintenance level.

You should be able to go from version of 9.3.x to another
version of 9.3.x without having to change your configuration.
        Similarly 9.4.x and 9.5.x.
The one exception is if there has been a security fix that
        required a configuration change.

BIND 9.[X-2] goes to EOL 6 months after the release of BIND 9.X.
