Two approaches are underway:

1. Produce a clone of the famous Xceed Micron grey scale adaptor that, with
the right PDS colour card from Xceed, will give an internal grey scale
display. AFAIK, the circuit diagram has been worked out on that, but I'm
not sure of PCB status. Anyone?

2. The other is to gut an SE/30 apart from the CRT, FD & HD, and use a 475
logic board and PSU together with the main board, PSU, yoke and 'CRT end'
PCB from a 12" hi-res mono display, to get a 'SE475' with 640 x 480 grey
scale. That project is 90% complete, and is shown in a page linked to from
my main PCC site - URL in sig.

hth,

Stuart.
