Carsten,

I think you hit it.  As soon as you said "PRAM battery" I remembered 
that my date has been screwed up since I turned it on.  It said "1904" - 
I shoulda checked the FAQ. :)  Unfortunately my early PC memories kicked 
in and I thought "That's OK" (because every floppy-based PC would come 
up with a date of 1/1/90).

Ihave 3 Plusses and I checked all their batteries: 3.65v was the 
highest, and that was in the one I'm using. :(  Needless to say I threw 
three batteries out today.  But it'll be good to have a fresh one.  I 
might buy two - haven't decided yet.

I'll be ordering a new battery from someone on Pickle's list.
