Hi, >Hello! I am trying to use Microsoft Works v2.0 (!) on my Performa 475... >but whenever I try to do anything (like make a new file), I get a 'type >1' error. Isn't this a memory problem? I've tried everything that Apple >Error Codes 98 says - but it still doesn't work! Does anyone know what I >should do?
I once had problems running old accounting software on a 475. It had too much RAM and the application only worked if it loaded as the first application after Finder! Might be a similar problem.
