Looking at the correspondence between other assistant list nannies, it's
clear that _this_ list is impeccably behaved - or at least its members are!
;-)

I think, however, that the 'absurd concept' thread is a tad off-topic for
this list - if it belongs to any Mac list, it must be one for emulators, I
guess. So, please, guys, can we take it off list, before anyone starts
complaining?

I'm posting this to the list rather than sending the usual quiet note to an
individual because I'm not responding to a particular posting, but rather
to the thread.

I suppose debating whethr the proposed components could be stuffed in a
Compact case might bring it back on topic, but I haven't seen that line of
discussion yet.  ;-)  And the answer is here:
