Ron, was the checkerboard screen black and white checks, or did it look like little bricks arranged in a wall pattern rotated 90 degrees (mine looks like this)? johnsn
The last time I tried powering on the computer was about a year ago. I didn't even try it before dissassembling it and cleaning the motherboard. I just assumed it would not start.
