Thank you! This looks like exactly what I'm looking for! :) What I'm 
planning on doing is making my car have voice-activated functions. I'm 
hoping to take a Powerbook Duo 2300c running 8.6 with Speakable Items, and 
interact with some kind of IO device to switch things on and off. This 
thing looks like what I'm looking for :)
