well not really unbootable.  but i got it today on ebay for .02 (yes you read 
that right, the guy's inherited a 1000sq foot storage space of classics and 
is trying to get rid of them).  i turn it on and hear the chime.  the 
harddrive spins, but the screen stays black.  booted it off a floppy with sys 
6 on it and same thing happens.

did something come loose?  for the price i don't really care and he's cool 
enough to send me a new one tomorrow.  but if anyone can help me out here 
(i'm not classic mac savvy yet), i'd love to be able to have two working 
classic IIs and plan to give it to a friend who's a starving artist writer.
