It has been a couple years since I sold my LS, but if I recall correctly I
maxed it out by installing 4-256Kx4 DRAM chips (probably 80nSec).  I
probably bought them from Digi-Key, but I have no idea if they still sell
them.

However...  The only advantage to adding memory is that you can print
larger / more complicated documents*, it has nothing to do with print
speed.  Since this is a quickdraw and not a postscript printer, all the
rendering is performed by the host computer.  The faster the computer, the
faster the print job.  It is also limited by the serial connection (which
transfers the data much slower than ethernet does).  Make sure you are
using the latest drivers (laserwriter 300 driver) as this will give you
greyscale.
