If I recall correctly

You might find one in the root area of a news server - there's usually a
detailed one on 'smilies' and sometimes one on common practice/etiquette.

I usually stick to the few that seem most common:

iirc
hth             hope this helps
ymmv            your mileage might vary
rotfl           rolls on the floor laughing
rotflmao        ...

and so on. Common usage varies with group/subject/age and so on. Most folks
will happily explain any you don't get. It's a bit like CB radio jargon;>
