When challenged (not just by Mrs McGhie) I usually point out that I go almost everywhere in Dr Martens footware of which I have two pairs. Everyone who questions my Mac habit seems to have many more pairs of shoes. I also rescued three Sinclair ZX Spectrums and a couple of BBC Masters but it's only the Macs which will be doing anything useful.
