Does either floppy drive behave strangely in any other way? Sounds like it might be a track 0 alignment mismatch between the drives. Didn't someone around here either have or know someone with a pair of floppy drives that were exactly 1 track different in their alignment, allowing 1.4MB of data to be written to an 800K disks, and neither computer could see what the other had written? >I will try another disk, but it will have to wait until I get back from >holidays as I left all my 800k's at home.
