I'd go with 6, but that's because I know *I* wouldn't have a problem making it
work, but if you think you'll be more comfortable with 7, use that.  There's a
noticeable speed difference, but as you say, 7 *is* easier to network
out-of-the-box, so to speak.

Might even want to install both on the hard disk and see how you like 'em.
Give 'em each a week or two and then make your choice.
