MPW will include an assembler, along with other useful tools and
possible a dialect of C.  it will include a nice debugger and linker so
you can write some of the code in a high level language and some low
level if you wish or just fragment your assembly language project if
it's large and that helps you manage it.  it's best when possible to
only write the processor intensive part of the application in assembly
language and write the rest (like the user interface) in a higher level
language and then call the machine code from the higher level program. 
i've got 3.4.4 if you want that email me off list.  if you can buy the
2.0.2 version somewhere that would be best, if you've found an online
source of it i'd love to know to help complete my collection.
