I've tried several different ways to word this question and none of them
look right, so here's what I want to do:

I've accumulated several programs that don't work right on my SE/30 when
32 bit addressing is selected in the Memory CP. They work fine in 24 bit
mode though. I want to be able to make a floppy with a system on it
(6.0.8 perhaps?) that will set memory to 24 bit mode. It would be extra
nice if it would reset it to 32 bit when restarted using the hard drive's
system.

I'm thinking the addressing is controlled from a bit in PRAM; if it's
not, this should work. If it is, is there a utility that will allow me to
select what mode the computer starts in? Something that would start in
one mode when a key is held during startup (similiar to <SHIFT> to
disable extensions) would be even better than my floppy boot disk idea.

Any ideas would be appreciated. I've already added an alias of the memory
CP to my desktop, to make for a "quick" change, but it still requires a
restart.

Thanks,

J White
