Actually it's a RAM issue. I pulled  the RAM off it and replaced it 
with known good  1MB SIMMs the I had for the SE/30 board. Work like a 
dream. I never install Specific system software on smaller hard disks 
in my compacts and IIcis as they get swapped around a lot.

Now I just gotta work out how to get the Ethernet board working :).
