So many of those old macs have been upgraded that you really can't rely on what the sticker on the back says. All that tells you is how it began life. Most likely, you have a Mac that was originally a 128K and at some point someone put a Fat Mac upgrade in it, replacing the ROM, DRAM chips and floppy drive. My partner has a Mac whose back indicated it's an original 128K, but it was upgraded to a Fat Mac at some point, and then we put a Newlife upgrade in it to take it to 4 MB and give it a SCSI port.
