So my recently re-discovered Classic is acting up. It no longer wants to boot up from the floppy any more. Just days ago I was able to boot when I inserted the floppy upon the flashing "?" disk icon. This morning the Classic rejected the boot floppy, this time flashing the "X" floppy icon.
Can someone tell me what is going on? Is my Classic toast?? If so, what can I do at this point? It seems to be completely ignoring any key attempts, including zap PRAM and starting up from ROM. thanks, yoshiko -- Compact Macs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/>.
