Just dragged the System folder across from the floppy to the HD. Can't do that with Mac OS X (oops, sorry, not supposed to mention X!). MacWrite II needed more RAM to run in, as did CW1. But MacPaint and MacDraw OK. Interestingly, hen I booted off a 400Kb floppy with System 2 and minifinder, MacWrite 1.6 which ran fine on a 128Kb Mac crashed on the 512ke, with exactly the same floppy disc.
