I picked up this little 2.5-inch hard drive case called HitchHiker 80 (though
no longer any 80mb HD inside), made by Mass Microsystems. Has regular DB-25
(both male and female) on it, and SCSI ID setting switch. The male DB-25 is
at a right angle, so you could just plug it into computer's SCSI port with
the case in a vertical position.

I'd love to use this cute little thing...only trouble is, no power supply. I
assume 5v.(positive center? my guru told me), but the jack to plug the PS
into is very tiny. So I am searching for the right wallwart and small enough
adaptor plug. Would a 6-volt wallwart blow any HD I'd have in there?
Anyway...this would be cool for those of you who want to have a small
external drive on your compact, so keep your eyes open.

Saul Broudy (who may get a chance to come to Klokhuisdag in January if
the recording session in Belgium happens)
