sorry for the cross post for any one who follows both compact and vintage. ok time for questions: 1) i have an SE with an asante NIC, the HD was wiped when i got it so i started from scratch. i went with system 6.0.8 and i have installed the drivers but i still cant get it to play, all the how-to's that i've found on the web are how to get online from a modem but nothing on a NIC. any clues or any thing that i've screwedup? i'm a newbe when it comes to macs. please help. 2) i nabed a sylewriter2 the other day for $2 and the plan was to take it home and hook it up to the SE and make it a print server for the home network. but i have no clue how to do this. any one have a how-to or hints on this?
