Bill, if you want to leave the screen saver on, try "DarkSide of the
Macintosh" and see if iCab is ok with it on your machines. It will run
*most* AfterDark modules like Flying Toasters as well as its own (Kaos and
VaseDance are my favourites from DarkSide. Uses 42-64k. (runs as an app.,
not an extension).

v4.2 is the last non-native version.(there's v2.5  for OS6x. too, as well
as the current v5.0.6)

So can an appropriate amount be reserved for the system?
Would enlarging the system cache do this?
